Audio-Technica AT-LP7X Manual Belt-Drive Turntable

Premium fully manual belt-drive turntable with precision tonearm, acrylic platter, and versatile MM/MC phono support for high-fidelity vinyl playback.

The Audio-Technica AT-LP7X is a high-performance manual belt-drive turntable designed for vinyl enthusiasts seeking precision engineering and refined analog sound. Positioned in the upper tier of Audio-Technica’s lineup, it combines a minimalist design with advanced components to deliver accurate, low-distortion playback.

At its core is a 20mm high-density acrylic platter paired with a 40mm MDF plinth, engineered to reduce unwanted resonance and vibration for cleaner, more stable sound reproduction. The belt-drive system incorporates an optical speed sensor and electronic speed control, ensuring consistent rotation accuracy at both 33⅓ and 45 RPM.

The precision J-shaped aluminium tonearm features a dual-axis gimbal with high-quality bearings, offering excellent tracking performance and adjustability. With support for vertical tracking angle (VTA), anti-skate control, and interchangeable headshells, the AT-LP7X is highly adaptable to a wide range of cartridges and user preferences.

Equipped with a built-in switchable phono preamplifier compatible with both moving magnet (MM) and moving coil (MC) cartridges, the turntable provides flexibility for direct connection to amplifiers or external phono stages. Supplied with the AT-VM95E cartridge, it also allows easy stylus upgrades within the VM95 series for enhanced performance.
