With 15.4 output channels, the Denon AVC-A1H has more channels and configuration options than any other AV amp on the market. Able to do full justice to Dolby Atmos and DTS:X signals, right up to Dolby Atmos 9.4.6, it has the capability to do justice to the largest home cinemas. Featuring the largest power transformer that Denon have ever used, plus uprated capacitors, this Denon AV amp has the power to match its processing. With a mighty 150 watts per channel it has the dynamic ability to keep you on the edge of your seat during the most tense, cinematic moments. The effortless power also lends itself to all music genres, including bass heavy dance, rock and Classical music.

Control to match the power
This Denon is about much more than sheer power, it’s about precision and control, too. The high current, premium transformer delivers its effortless power to mono block amplifiers. These type of amps split the power between right and left channels, giving enhanced detail and an even more spacious and natural sound. Other engineering enhancements include cast iron feet and chassis reinforcements for the most effective anti-vibration measures.

Connect up to four subwoofers for balanced bass around the room
For the best-balanced bass, the AVC-A1H has four passive subwoofer outputs. This lets you place a subwoofer in each corner of the room, giving a smooth, even bass response. With four bass channels, you can also use smaller subwoofers. This gives you a tighter, punchier bass whilst not missing any bass weight and depth.

Wide range of immersive 3D sound formats
Making the most of its 15-channel output, the Denon AVC-A1H has the widest range of surround sound formats. Compatible formats include Dolby Atmos, Dolby Atmos Height Virtualization Technology, DTS:X, DTS:X Pro, DTS Virtual:X, DTS Neural X, IMAX Enhanced, Auro-3D and 360 Reality Audio. Simply put, if the format’s out there, this Denon more than likely has it covered.

Fully equipped for 8K
The AVC-A1H is equipped for an 8K future. With no fewer than seven HDMI inputs, all of which are 8K and 4K/120Hz ready, you’ll have all the connectivity you’ll ever need. Two of the three outputs are 8K compatible, too. They support 8K pass-through, 4K/120Hz and 8K upscaling of 4K content, as well, ensuring you get the very best picture from legacy sources.

Brilliant for gamers
The enhanced HDMI interface makes this Denon AV amp the perfect choice for gaming. All HDMI inputs support 4K/120Hz and VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) for the best resolution and clarity. Quick Frame Transport (QFT) and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) help eliminate lag and frame tearing, giving you a smoother, more responsive gaming experience.

Wide-ranging HDR support
The AVC-A1H also supports a wide range of High Dynamic Range video formats. These include Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HLG. It also supports HDR10+, which enhances picture realism by sending dynamic Meta data to your TV, as well as Dynamic HDR. In short, whatever the format used by the film, game or stream, the Denon supports it.

Unique Dirac Live set-up – coming soon*
For the very best sound in your room, Denon is set to offer powerful room correcting technology from Dirac Research. This uses a microphone and dedicated software to take multiple readings around your room and feed the information back to the amplifier for a completely bespoke response (professional set-up recommended).

Audyssey MultEQ XT32 for simple room set-up
Featuring Audyssey's high-end MultEQ XT32 technology, the AVC-A1H adapts itself to your room's acoustics. The XT32 version of this automatic measuring and set-up device features include Audyssey Dynamic Volume, Dynamic EQ, LFC and SubEQ HT for total control. If you want to take this even further, purchase the MultEQ Editor App (at additional cost) and you've access to advanced user settings.

HEOS built-in - for the finest multi-room audio
HEOS multi-room music systems connect together by dual-band Wi-Fi, making them easy to set up with your existing home network. Up to 32 HEOS units can be set up at one time, ensuring even the largest of homes are covered for multi-room music. With HEOS already built-in, the AVC-A1H is ready to go as a single 'zone' without any further adaptors.

Control it all with the HEOS app
Once you've set up your HEOS speaker system, you can stream music effortlessly via the dedicated HEOS app. Available for Apple iOS and Android, the app not only lets you stream your stored music but also Internet radio services and popular streaming services such as Spotify, Tidal, Napster and Deezer.

Use with your choice of voice assistant
Compatible with Siri, Alexa and Google Assistant, the AVC-A1H works with your voice assistant of choice. For Alexa or Google Assistant control, simply download the HEOS app. Pair your Echo device if you’re using Alexa and you’re good to go – adjust the volume, skip to the next track and switch inputs simply by asking Alexa or Google. For control via Siri, simply link the amp via Apple AirPlay 2 and enjoy voice interaction and AirPlay 2 multi-room support.
