Denon DP-450USB – Belt-Drive Turntable with USB Recording & Built-in Phono Equalizer

The Denon DP-450USB is a premium belt-drive Hi-Fi turntable designed for both traditional vinyl playback and convenient vinyl digitisation. It combines a DC servo motor, 33⅓/45/78 rpm speed selection, static-balanced S-shaped tonearm, pre-mounted MM cartridge and switchable built-in phono equalizer. Its integrated USB-A recording function allows records to be converted directly to MP3 or WAV files on a compatible USB flash drive, while the automatic arm-lift and stop function provides added convenience at the end of a record.

Key Features

  • Static-Balanced S-Shaped Tonearm: 220mm effective-length tonearm provides adjustable tracking force and broad cartridge compatibility.
  • Automatic Arm Lift: The tonearm automatically lifts when the record reaches the end.
  • Automatic Stop: When enabled, the platter stops automatically at the end of playback.
  • MM Cartridge Included: A moving-magnet cartridge is pre-mounted to the headshell for convenient setup.

System Integration

The Denon DP-450USB can connect to both traditional phono-equipped Hi-Fi systems and equipment without a dedicated phono input. When connected to an amplifier's MM phono input, the DP-450USB's built-in equalizer should be switched off. When connected to an AUX, CD or other line-level input, the built-in phono equalizer can be switched on. Its USB-A port provides a separate digitisation function, allowing vinyl playback to be recorded directly to a compatible USB flash drive in MP3 or WAV format without requiring a computer during recording.
