The DUAL CS 618Q is a high-quality manual direct-drive turntable designed for precise and stable vinyl playback. It combines a quartz-stabilised direct-drive motor, a heavy aluminium die-cast platter, a precision twin-gimbal tonearm and a factory-installed Ortofon 2M Blue MM cartridge. An automatic tonearm lift and electronic motor stop at the end of a record add convenience while retaining manual playback control.
The CS 618Q uses a quartz-stabilised direct-drive motor that drives the platter directly without a belt. Its coreless motor design is intended to minimise vibration, while double shielding helps reduce unwanted magnetic interference. Electronic speed selection provides convenient access to all three supported playback speeds.

Although the CS 618Q is a manual turntable, it incorporates an automatic end-of-record function for added convenience. When playback reaches the end of the record, the tonearm is automatically lifted and the motor stops. This function can be switched off when manual operation without automatic intervention is preferred.
The CS 618Q provides an RCA analogue output and can be connected to either a dedicated PHONO input or a LINE-level input, depending on the configuration of the connected audio system.
