Focal Pro Alpha 50 Evo – Active 2-Way Studio Monitor
The Focal Pro Alpha 50 Evo is a compact active 2-way studio monitor designed for nearfield monitoring, recording, mixing and content-production environments. It combines a 5-inch Slatefiber woofer with a 1-inch aluminium inverted-dome tweeter, dual Class-D amplification and a bass-reflex enclosure to deliver a neutral tonal balance, wide sound dispersion and consistent performance at both low and high listening levels. Balanced XLR and TRS inputs, unbalanced RCA connectivity, adjustable LF/HF shelving and switchable auto-standby make it suitable for a wide range of professional studio setups.

System Integration
The Focal Pro Alpha 50 Evo is an active studio monitor, so it does not require an external power amplifier. A professional audio interface, mixer, monitor controller, DAC with variable output or compatible preamplifier can connect directly through balanced XLR or TRS, while the RCA input accommodates compatible unbalanced sources. For stereo monitoring, two Alpha 50 Evo monitors are required, one for the left channel and one for the right channel. The adjustable LF and HF shelving controls allow each monitor to be tuned according to room acoustics and placement.
