The Focal Shape 65 is a professional active nearfield studio monitor designed for accurate monitoring, mixing and mastering. As the reference model of the Shape line, it combines a 6.5-inch Flax-sandwich woofer, an M-shaped aluminium-magnesium inverted-dome tweeter and dual passive radiators to deliver precise imaging, controlled bass and detailed sound reproduction, even when positioned close to a wall.
The Shape 65 uses Focal’s 165mm Flax-sandwich cone woofer. The lightweight and rigid cone construction is engineered to provide controlled bass, natural midrange reproduction and low coloration, helping reveal fine details during recording, mixing and mastering.
