Focal Pro Solo6 Be – Active 2-Way Professional Studio Monitor

The Focal Pro Solo6 Be is a compact active 2-way professional nearfield studio monitor from Focal's SM6 generation. It combines a 6.5-inch Focal "W" composite sandwich-cone woofer with a pure Beryllium inverted-dome tweeter, individually powered by 150W RMS BASH and 100W RMS Class-AB amplification. With a wide 40Hz–40kHz frequency response, 113dB peak SPL, balanced XLR connectivity and adjustable LF/HF level controls, the Solo6 Be is designed for critical recording, mixing, mastering and professional monitoring applications.

The Focal Pro Solo6 Be is an active studio monitor with dedicated amplification built directly into the enclosure, so an external power amplifier is not required. A professional audio interface, mixer, monitor controller, preamplifier or DAC with a suitable balanced analogue output can connect directly to its XLR input. The selectable +4dBu and -10dBV input sensitivity settings provide compatibility with different source levels, while the adjustable LF and HF controls allow the monitor's tonal balance to be adapted to room acoustics and placement. For conventional stereo monitoring, two Solo6 Be monitors are required, with one monitor connected to the left channel and the other to the right channel.
