The JBL Stage 240B is a compact 2-way bookshelf loudspeaker designed to deliver impressive JBL sound from a small footprint. Suitable for use as front stereo speakers or surround channels in a home cinema system, the Stage 240B combines a 4.5-inch Polycellulose ribbed-cone woofer with a 1-inch anodized aluminium tweeter and JBL’s Next Generation HDI™ waveguide for clear, detailed and well-dispersed sound.
The Stage 240B uses JBL’s Next Generation High-Definition Imaging (HDI™) waveguide with a 25mm anodized aluminium dome tweeter. The waveguide geometry is engineered to improve directivity and reduce diffraction while providing a balanced response both on and off axis.
A 114mm (4.5-inch) Polycellulose ribbed-cone woofer provides the Stage 240B’s midrange and bass reproduction. The ribbed cone construction increases rigidity, helping the compact speaker produce accurate and controlled low-frequency performance.
