MoFi Electronics UltraDeck + UG Turntable with UltraGold MC Cartridge
The MoFi Electronics UltraDeck + UG is a precision-engineered belt-drive turntable supplied with a factory-installed UltraGold MC moving-coil cartridge. It combines a high-mass 1.3-inch Delrin platter, isolated 300 RPM AC synchronous motor, 10-inch Ultra tonearm, constrained-layer damped plinth and HRS-designed anti-vibration feet for accurate, low-noise vinyl playback.

Delrin Platter
The UltraDeck uses a 1.3-inch high-mass Delrin platter. Delrin provides a favourable mechanical impedance match with vinyl, while the platter's mass contributes to rotational stability and a low mechanical noise floor.

Ultra Tonearm
The 10-inch MoFi Ultra tonearm uses a straight aluminium armtube and gimbaled bearing system. Its precision bearings provide controlled movement in the vertical and horizontal planes, while Cardas Audio wiring maintains the signal path to the RCA outputs.

UltraGold MC Cartridge
The included UltraGold MC is a dual moving-coil stereo cartridge designed for detailed and accurate analogue reproduction. It features a nude Shibata stylus mounted to a boron cantilever, together with a neodymium magnet, permendur yoke and PCOCC copper coils. The aluminium cartridge body uses threaded inserts for straightforward mounting.

Cartridge & Tonearm Compatibility
The UltraGold MC weighs 7.3 g, which falls within the Ultra tonearm's specified 5–10 g cartridge range. Its 0.4 mV output identifies it as a low-output MC cartridge and requires a suitable MC phono input or external MC phono stage.
Plinth & Isolation
The UltraDeck uses a constrained-layer plinth made from three aluminium plates bonded to an MDF body. This construction adds mass and helps control unwanted mechanical resonance. HRS-designed anti-vibration feet provide additional isolation from external vibration.
Platter Bearing
A hardened-steel inverted bearing provides smooth and stable platter rotation. The low-tolerance bearing system uses steel, bronze and sapphire components, while the sapphire thrust pad supports the platter's rotational interface.
