The SME Synergy Mk2 Diamond is a premium integrated high-end turntable combining SME's precision-engineered Model 12 platform with the dedicated Synergy tonearm, factory-fitted moving-coil cartridge and integrated phono stage. The Diamond version adds an exclusive precision-machined finish and distinctive black detailing while retaining the advanced mechanical and electronic architecture of the Synergy Mk2.

The turntable uses a substantial CNC-machined aluminium chassis and sub-chassis designed to provide a rigid foundation for the platter, drive system and tonearm.
