The Sonos Era 100 SL is a compact wireless speaker designed to deliver rich stereo sound and deep bass without built-in voice control. Its acoustic architecture combines three Class-D digital amplifiers, two angled tweeters and one midwoofer to produce stereo separation from a single enclosure. With Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, Apple AirPlay 2, USB-C connectivity, Sonos app control and Trueplay room tuning for compatible iOS devices, Era 100 SL can operate as a standalone music speaker, as part of a multi-room Sonos system, as one half of a stereo pair or as a surround speaker in a compatible Sonos home theatre system.

System Integration

The Sonos Era 100 SL is a fully active wireless speaker, so no external amplifier or AV receiver is required for normal music playback. It can stream over Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3 or Apple AirPlay 2 and is controlled through the Sonos app or its capacitive touch controls. An analogue source such as a turntable can be connected through the USB-C port using the optional Sonos Line-In Adapter and an appropriate 3.5mm audio connection; a turntable without a built-in phono preamplifier additionally requires a suitable external phono stage. Wired Ethernet connectivity is available using the optional Sonos Combo Adapter. Two compatible speakers can be configured as a dedicated stereo pair, while a pair can also serve as surrounds within a compatible Sonos home theatre system.
