The Spendor DC1 is a precision-engineered centre channel speaker designed to reproduce dialogue and vocals with outstanding clarity and realism. Built as part of Spendor’s D-Line series, the DC1 ensures perfect tonal matching with compatible models such as the D7.2 and D9.2, making it an ideal centerpiece for high-end multi-channel audio systems.
Featuring a sophisticated 2.5-way driver configuration, the DC1 combines a 22mm LPZ polyamide dome tweeter with an 18cm EP77 polymer cone bass/mid driver and an additional 18cm Kevlar composite bass driver. This arrangement delivers precise imaging, detailed midrange reproduction, and controlled, articulate bass — ensuring dialogue remains clear and lifelike even during complex movie scenes.
The rigid, asymmetrically braced cabinet incorporates Spendor’s proprietary Dynamic Damping technology, minimizing resonance and enhancing overall clarity.
