The Technics SL-1000R is a reference-class direct drive turntable system engineered for uncompromising analog performance. Built around a newly developed coreless direct drive motor with a twin-rotor design, it delivers exceptional rotational stability with extremely low wow and flutter, ensuring accurate and consistent playback. 

A heavyweight 7.9 kg brass and aluminium die-cast platter provides high inertia for stable rotation, reducing speed fluctuations and improving overall sonic accuracy. Combined with a multi-layered, high-rigidity chassis and advanced vibration damping, the SL-1000R effectively suppresses unwanted resonance and external interference for pure, distortion-free sound.

The high-sensitivity universal static-balance tonearm is precision-engineered to extract maximum detail from vinyl records, offering excellent tracking accuracy and compatibility with a wide range of cartridges. A separate control unit isolates power supply and electronic circuits from the main chassis, further reducing noise and preserving signal integrity.
