World Music Day 2026 at The Revolver Club Goa

₹ 1770.00 Sale

Celebrate World Music Day at The Revolver Club, Fontainhas with an afternoon of records, food, film, and stories from Goa to the world.

Hosted in collaboration with Leaxan and The Local Beat, this special gathering begins with a vinyl listening session dedicated to Goan music recorded in the 1960s and 1970s, including mandos, dulpods, and cantaram. Through the session, Leaxan will share the stories behind the records, the musicians, and the cultural worlds they came from.

Food will be an important part of the afternoon. Guests will be welcomed with traditional refreshers like kokum juice or kasai / ganjan tea. The menu by The Local Kitchen will include pre-plated Goan bites such as sasav, a sweet and sour Goan prawn preparation in mustard-coconut gravy, poha, teesryo dangar or clam cutlets, and chicken masala. These will be served with fresh pav during the day and poee in the evening. To end, guests will also be served jackfruit cake, celebrating summer phanas at its best.

The day also includes a film screening and a closing vinyl session that travels across music traditions from different parts of the world.
