Description
Released in 1984, this is the seventh studio album released by American rock singer and songwriter, Bruce Springsteen. It became an instant success among the masses, and gained plenty of critical acclaim as well. In fact, the album contained seven tracks that featured individually within the top 10 at the time!
Unlike his previous album, ‘Nebraska’, ‘Born in the USA’ is considered to be livelier. But Springsteen himself sees much of the material to be fairly similar – as would be evident to anyone upon scrutiny. The primary difference comes from the rock band setting, giving it a happier overall tone. At the time of its release, it easily became the best-selling record of the year. Till date, it remains Springsteen’s best-selling work with several hit songs such as ‘Dancing in the Dark’, ‘Glory Days’, ‘I’m Goin’ Down’, ‘My Hometown’, and many more.
So if you call yourself a Springsteen fan, this album is definitely a must-have. Moreover, with the comeback of turntables, there is no better way to enjoy his music than on vinyl. Fortunately, this fantastic album is now available on Vinyl LPs in India at The Revolver Club, Mumbai. So why not get your hands on a copy online right now?
