With the SE version of the award-winning DC6 speakers, Tannoy has made some changes for an upgrade to the already impressive sound quality. A new, double magnet drive system improves the cone control making the sound more accurate and precise. Dual-Concentric drive units
Making use of Tannoy's famous Dual Concentric drive units, the DC6 SE sound exceptionally open and spacious. By placing the tweeter in the throat of the main woofer, the Revolution DC6 SE gives a single point source for critical high and mid-range frequencies for a consistency and realism of vocals that you'd be hard pushed to find from many rivals.

Titanium dome tweeter, long-throw woofer
The tweeter itself is a titanium dome unit that gives exceptional detail without sounding brash or harsh. The woofer uses conventional pulp paper with a long-throw surround for effortless power. Although compact, the 6-inch woofer provides a surprisingly powerful bass response, and while not as deep as similarly priced floor standing speakers, the bass is dynamic and superbly integrated with the rest of the music.

High-quality cabinet
Helping to give the drive units the very best of support, the cabinets are of exceptional quality for the class. The trapezoidal shape breaks up internal standing waves for a less boomy sound. The cabinets are also extremely well-braced making them very rigid, for less musical coloration than many rivals. As a result, the Tannoy Revolution DC6 SEs sound very natural and free from distortion.

Attention to detail
As with all the Tannoy Revolution range, much of the beauty is in the detail. Silver-plated cable and chromed cable connections offer a long-lasting and low resistance connection, right up to the drive units. The crossover features low-loss laminated inductors and audiophile-grade polypropylene capacitors. These components are usually found in much more expensive speakers and help give the Tannoy's their open and transparent sound.
