The Focal Clear Mg is a premium open-back circumaural headphone designed for high-fidelity home listening. Made in France, it features Focal's 40mm full-range electrodynamic drivers with pure Magnesium M-shaped domes, engineered to combine low mass, high damping and rigidity for detailed, dynamic and balanced sound reproduction. System Integration
The Focal Clear Mg is a passive wired open-back headphone intended primarily for high-fidelity home listening. Its 55-ohm impedance allows it to be used with a wide range of compatible headphone amplifiers, DAC/headphone amplifiers, integrated amplifiers and other Hi-Fi components equipped with a suitable headphone output. The supplied 1.2m 3.5mm cable can be used with conventional single-ended outputs, with the included 6.35mm adapter providing compatibility with full-size headphone sockets. A 3m 4-pin XLR cable is also supplied for use with compatible balanced headphone amplifiers. Because Clear Mg uses an open-back acoustic design, it is best suited to quiet listening environments where maximum isolation is not required.
