Description

Martin Sheen and Sissy Spacek star in this crime drama from film-maker Terrence Malick. When 15-year-old Holly Sargis (Spacek) moves from Texas to North Dakota with her father, she meets garbage collector Kit Carruthers (Sheen) who is ten years her senior. As romance quickly blossoms between the two, Kit kills Holly's father when he announces his disapproval of their relationship.

With a thirst for violence they embark on a homicidal spree across the American Midwest leaving behind them a trail of death and destruction.
