Peter Falk and John Cassavetes star in this crime drama written and directed by Elaine May. After stealing money from his mobster boss Resnick (Sanford Meisner), Nicky (Cassavetes) is in hiding, aware that Resnick has put a hit out on him. He calls his longtime friend Mikey (Falk) for help, but although they have known each other since childhood, their friendship has been filled with conflicts. The events that follow will define their bond forever.
