Integrated MM Phono Stage

The Planar 1 Plus includes a specially designed Rega moving magnet phono preamplifier based on the company’s established phono-stage technology. It converts the low-level output from the Rega Carbon cartridge into a standard line-level signal, eliminating the need for a separate external phono stage.

The turntable should be connected to a standard AUX, CD, line-in or powered-speaker input. It should not normally be connected to another phono input because the signal has already been amplified by the internal phono stage.

RB110 Tonearm

The hand-assembled RB110 tonearm features Rega-designed ultra-low-friction bearings, a rigid headshell and a preset bias system. The factory-configured design minimizes adjustment requirements, making the turntable easy to install while maintaining accurate cartridge tracking and stable record playback.

Rega Carbon MM Cartridge

A Rega Carbon moving magnet cartridge is factory fitted and aligned. Designed for reliable everyday vinyl playback, the cartridge offers a balanced and engaging presentation while allowing the user to begin playing records with minimal setup.

Low-Noise Belt-Drive System

The turntable uses a 24V synchronous motor with a dedicated motor control PCB and aluminium pulley. Combined with the advanced EBLT drive belt and high-mass phenolic platter, the drive system is engineered to improve rotational stability while reducing unwanted motor noise and vibration.
