Ilona was registered as a brand name on 14 January 1958 by Ilona SA of Basthal and Grenchen, Switzerland. Subsequently, the name was apparently used by Ermano SA, and the last firm date we have for Ilona is a registration dated 28 December 1977 by the cryptically named, "G of TD Watch SA".
