How did you record collection journey begin?
"It all started in 2017 after Chester Bennington's death after which Mike Shinoda released his album called ""Post Traumatic"". After listening to it, that's when I knew, I wanted to start my vinyl record journey someday. I just knew in my heart that this album would sound so good on vinyl. It encapsulated Mike's emotions so perfectly. It truly showed what he was feeling and what he went through in what was probably one of the most trying times of his life. So much of his life's work was gone overnight, in the blink of an eye.
I finally started my record journey in April 2023, 4.5 years later when I bought Continuum by John Mayer. A close friend of mine, Rohit, pushed me to buy it and he said it was fine to buy a few records first before getting a player.
I ended up getting 16 records before getting my player.
I now have 50+ records and I'm super happy that I've hopped on this absolutely beautiful journey!"

Any advice to people that are about to start their collection?
"1. Don't get overwhelmed by the slight learning curve that is there to the vinyl scene
2. Let your music taste truly show! Buy whatever you want. You don't have to collect all the must-haves. Buy a record only if you truly want it and not because everyone else seems to have it
3. Invest in a good cleaning kit as well, it's a solid long term investment"
