How did you first get into collecting records?
"It all began in 2018 when I was listening to Mike Shinoda's Post Traumatic album.
An album that is absolutely god-tier.
The album has a little bit of everything in it, but most importantly it has emotion ingrained into every song.
While listening to this, I had a thought of how nice it'd sound on a record, the 2nd best way to listen to music.
The first being in an actual real-life concert.
There's something super magical about listening to music on vinyl.
It starts before you even play the record.
The very act of removing the record from the sleeve itself hits different.
Handling the record, putting it on the platter, pressing the button, watching the tone arm land on the grooves, listening to the initial static is a different rush altogether that words can't quite describe.
And when the music starts playing, you can just feel it in your bones.
So crisp. So clear.
Your soul feels it.
That's how the idea of starting a record collection someday started!
However, I picked up John Mayer's Continuum as my first record when I went for my first Record Store Day in April 2023.
Since then I've got 80+ records (including Post Traumatic by Mike Shinoda as a zoetrope vinyl)"
