What are your favourite genres?
House, Funk, Disco, Trip Hop, Jazz, Jungle, RnB, etc.
How did you first get into collecting records?
As growing up whenever I used to visit my grandparents, my grandfather used to collect vinyl especially Bollywood, Indian Classical, etc. Since I have always loved music and exploring it, listening to music in the physical form especially vinyl was super intriguing. After he passed away, I took over his vinyl player and collection and have been updating it since 2020.
What’s your turntable setup like?
I have a set of Yamaha HS8, one Pioneer DJM-250MK2 Mixer and one Pioneer PLX-500 turntable.
What’s your best advice for people starting their vinyl journey?
Take your time, don't spend too much initially and gradually increase and improve your collection. Records aren't going anywhere and don't always give into the hype.
