It all started when was in Japan, and was completely blown away by the incredible record collection and hidden gems I came across. On impulse, I picked up a few records without even owning a player at the time. That spontaneous moment kicked off my vinyl journey. Once I got back, I bought a record player and since then, started building a collection.

I'm using an Audio-Technica LP60X as my turntable, paired with a couple of custom speakers I already had. It's a pretty simple setup, but it delivers great sound and does the job well for my collection.

Start with music you genuinely love that's the best part of building a vinyl collection. Don't worry too much about rare or expensive pressings at the beginning. Just focus on albums you'd actually enjoy listening to. Get yourself a reasonably priced turntable, not too expensive to start with and slowly build your setup and collection from there. It's all about enjoying the journey.
