I grew up listening to my dad's vintage vinyl collection so I always had a knack for physical media. When I was in the final year of my med school , the pandemic hit and I saw so many bands going on hiatuses being unable to promote their music that I thought that maybe I should start investing more in supporting my favorite artists... And I had an excuse to start collecting physical media as well. It started off with City Burials by Katatonia. And now it's grown to approximately 70 records for the time being over the span of 5 years.

I use a vintage Pioneer PL 320 with an almost equally vintage Sonodyne tape recorder cum amp repurposed as the turntable amp. As for audio output I just use my Atx M50x. Not a super refined setup but has been getting the job done for a long time

It's a rabbithole that never ends. Just a super pleasant sounding one
