How did you first get into collecting records?
Inherited my in-laws’ old record player, and that’s where this whole vinyl journey began. Since then, I’ve added a new turntable, kept collecting records, and now I pick up vinyl wherever I travel. What started as a hand-me-down has turned into a habit I genuinely love.
What’s your turntable setup like?
My setup blends nostalgia with modern reliability. I use a vintage Philips 832 alongside an Audio-Technica LP120.
What’s your best advice for people starting their vinyl journey?
If you’re just starting out, go slow. One record at a time. Buy the albums you actually love, not the ones everyone says you should own. Forget the FOMO and the race to grab the most hyped pressings. This hobby is way more fun when your collection tells your story, not the internet’s.
