How long have you been collecting records for?Started less than 2 years ago.
How large is your vinyl collection?
Have upwards of 300 LPs...in all three formats....some 50 odd 45’s to be still sorted. Lucky to bag 2-3 old hand me down collections from friends. Also bought from various travels - Kolkata, Chennai, Goa, Delhi, chore bazaar etc.
Which is the most valuable record in your collection?
Difficult to say. I listen to ghazals, rock, hindi classic, old/modern hindi movies etc. Perhaps a Pro can do a valuation someday. All I can say is that it’s expensive.
Tell us about your turntable setup
Simple and nothing very fancy, but hooked to my Bose lifestyle....that takes care of the decibels!
Any advice to people that are about to start their collection?
I am myself still trying to decipher. Have a long way to go. The trick I guess is to enjoy what you have - before the addiction gets you
