How did you first get into collecting records?
around 2021/2022 when I got some ideas from random vinyl videos starting popping up in my list, then got in touch with a local person to get Mofi StudioDeck and came to know about the revolver club and bought many records. also purchased from Delhi and really enjoyed the songs on that format. previously, I used to listen to them on audio cassettes. since then it has been some journey.
What’s your turntable setup like?
in turntable, now I have Mofi StudioDeck and Technics SL 10 with EPC 310 MC; in stereo deck I have Nakamichi DR 1, in amplifier I have Cambridge AXR 100 and Nakamichi SR 40, and CD Transport by Cambridge, Magnat Transpuls 1500.
What’s your best advice for people starting their vinyl journey?
one can start with decent turntable, ideally new ones by technics, play with it, and buy few pre owned records ideally in VG or VG+ categories from revolver club... a decent amplifier, and go on to build the hobby as per passion and money. there is no end. the most valuable thing is collecting decent records.
