Tell us your Vinyl Story
I am a huge fan of Peter Cat Recording Co. When they put out their first compilation album on vinyl, I had to have it. But, I had no turntable to play it.
I finally bought a turntable in August 2022. Since then, it has become an obsession. I've discovered so many new albums that I've fallen in love with since then. All thanks to The Revolver Club.

Which is the most valuable record in your collection?
Peter Cat Recording Co. - Portrait of a Time: 2010-2016. Also some old Indian Classical music singles I inherited from my great-grandather's colllection.

Tell us about your turntable setup.
I have a Denon DP29-F (from TRC) hooked into an old Sony MHC-RV60. The Sony music system is also sentimental because I fell in love with music by listening to albums on this system. I played a lot of albums on CDs and cassettes in my childhood and later connected my mp3 player to it in my teenage years.

Any advice to people that are about to start their collection?
Don't think I know enough to.
I read somewhere that albums with covers that appeal to you are always good. I've found this to be true in my limited experience. I bought two albums like this - Coney Island by Herb Alpert, and The Goin's great by Sammy Davis Jr. They were low-rated but I fell in love with them.
I like to buy an unknown album every time I buy a record that I like. Works well especially if the uknown one is cheap.
Buy some records before you actually buy a TT. Makes that first session even more rewarding.
