Through my best friend, Ishita, who had a record player + speakers that she'd purchased from the revolver club. We were roommates and she introduced me to an entire array of music on her vinyls which transformed the way I experience sound. I "inherited" a bunch of records through several friends over time which has accumulated into my current collection.
Which is the most valuable record in your collection?

I usually use my roommate's - don't know the exact details of it apart from the fact that it's a second-hand piece. He has the player + speakers, and I have the records.
Any advice to people that are about to start their collection?
Invest wisely. Select albums that you can derive multiple experiences / understandings of the flow & composition - albums with depth and complexity in their composition that make the listening experience that much more immersive without getting monotonous.
