My record collection journey began with my dad’s vinyl collection, which had close to 100 records—both LPs and EPs. Growing up, I was fascinated by the ritual of playing them—placing the record on the turntable and letting the music fill the room. It was never just listening; it was an experience that stayed with me.
What’s your turntable setup like?
My current setup includes an Audio-Technica LP70X with an AT-VM95C Dual MM Stereo Cartridge, paired with a Sony MHC-RV5 Music system—a simple, reliable setup delivering a rich vinyl experience.
What’s your best advice for people starting their vinyl journey?
It’s an expensive hobby, so begin with a basic setup, buy records you genuinely enjoy, and build your collection over time—the experience is what truly matters.
