I always wanted to have a turntable as a hobbyist DJ (a journey that started 19 years ago) and wanted to play actual records. While in Dubai, I stumbled upon a section of Vinyl records in Virgin Megastore and ended up buying a record of Michael Jackson's Thriller, without owning a turntable yet! The same year, I got a friend bring David Guetta's Nothing but the Beat from the same store. Then, my wife made a turntable happen this year, as my birthday gift. Since then, I've been exploring and buying records from various online stores like yours, Calcutta Recods, and even on Bandcamp (for the kind of techno that I listen to).

One thing that I've come to realise is, that buying records is an expensive hobby, atleast for me. My advice is, not to purchase cautiously, but to freely buy what one wants after planning the finances before doing so. That way, one enjoys the blissful experience of owning physical music, without burning a deeper hole in the pockets. I set aside a chunk of my hobby spends, even when I'm not spending. So that way, I get to splurge when I see multiple interesting finds!
