How long have you been collecting records for?
I bought my first record in 2014, but I have been seriously collecting records since the last one and a half years. Record collecting started off as an adventure, but now it has transformed into a disease. I love that here are millions of records in the world which have amazing music and are yet to be discovered. I run an Instagram page where I share my collection, it can be seen here - https://www.instagram.com/digginginindia/

How Large is your vinyl collection?
My vinyl collection right now is about 250 vinyl strong. Apart from vinyl I love audio cassettes and have about 300+ audio tapes as well.
Which is the most valuable record in your collection?
Money wise I would say the Simla Beat 70, which is a compilation of the best tracks from the 'Simla Beat Contest', a rock n roll band competition help annually in Mumbai in the 70s. Sentiment wise, it has to Aretha Franklin's 'I Never Loved A Man The Way I Love You' which was a gift to my from my girlfriend.
Tell us about your turntable setup.
My turntable set up is very basic right now, it's a LP-60 with a pair of basic speakers. I plan to upgrade to the LP-120 once I move out of home in my own personal space.
Any advice to people that are about to start their collection?
I honestly have no advice honestly, people who are serious about vinyl find their own way and learn the tips and tricks as they progress.
