What are your favourite genres?
I am a pan-genre collector. I love records that can be classified as collectibles, not only because of their rarity but also because of the art pressed into the record.
How did you first get into collecting records?
I found a used record player in 2012 and never looked back. Helped that I was living in Milwaukee, and the vinyl resurrection movement was picking up steam.
What’s your turntable setup like?
I have a basic LP60x running into Edifier bookshelf monitors.
What’s your best advice for people starting their vinyl journey?
Buy the record player and speakers before buying the first record. While the record may seem cheaper, the wax will sit around and collect dust if not played regularly. Don't skimp on the speakers. That is what will make the listening experience truly enjoyable.
