Stereo System FAQ's
What is a Stereo Sound?
Commonly called stereo sound or just stereo, stereophonic sound divides sounds across two channels (recorded on two separate sources) then the recorded sounds are mixed so that some elements are channeled to the left and others to the right.
What is a Stereo System?
In a nutshell. A home stereo system includes two speakers for two good reasons. Most recordings have two separate and distinct channels. And you have two ears. When you listen in stereo, recorded music sounds more like a live performance. It's a feeling you won't get from a single wireless speaker.
Most stereo systems include three things:
1) At least one music source (Truntable, CD player etc)
2) A stereo receiver or amplifier
3) A matched pair of speakers
