from the internet itself, I discovered the magic of vinyl. I was incredibly excited to learn how analog sounds, and surprisingly it sounded way better than I expected, the instrument separation, the warmth, the stylus smoothly gliding through the grooves. It was just therapeutic to me. I decided to get myself a setup. Now I finally have established myself a beautiful place where I could just lay back and relax. That's how my collection started!

I’m currently running a Rega Planar 1 with an Ortofon 2M Red cartridge, paired with a Fosi Audio P4 preamp. For now I’m using a portable speaker, but I’m planning to upgrade soon to a pair of Edifier R1700 bookshelf speakers. As for accessories, I’ve got outer and inner sleeves, along with an Audio-Technica AT6013 carbon fiber anti-static brush. In my vinyl collection, I’ve got The Best of Sade by Sade, Soy Pablo by Boy Pablo, Salad Days by Mac Demarco, Currents and The Slow Rush by Tame Impala, But Seriously by Phil Collins and The Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd

Avoid getting the cheaply made crossley tables that would most certainly damage your records, usually paired with ceramic cartridges. Considering your turntable is going to be the core of your setup, it's simply not worth it to cheap out on it, It'll sound bad and you would feel like you made a terrible financial decision. Take good care of your records and store them properly, especially with inner sleeves and use anti static brush to clean your record's surface before playing it. It's a very fragile item so it's always better to treat it like one! They are your prized possessions! Vinyl is a long journey, it'll take a while to collect the albums you've loved and the wait is going to be totally worth it, enjoy this hobby as a ritual and dont be in a hurry! peace :3
