How did you first get into collecting records?
Music has always been a huge part of my life growing up but i never planned on having my own vinyl collection until one day i came across ‘the wall’ record by pink floyd. Idk what took over me that day but in an impulse I purchased it without even checking the price tag. Since then, it’s become more of a passion than just a hobby. What felt like a bad financial decision at that time has turned into something so intimate and close to my heart. If my house was on fire, I wouldn’t think twice about taking all my records with me.
What’s your turntable setup like?
Currently AT-LP60X paired to old sony stereo speakers. Planning to upgrade to a proper bookshelf speakers soon.
What’s your best advice for people starting their vinyl journey?
It’s an expensive hobby especially if you’re from India. Plan your finances accordingly and you’ll be alright.
