DUAL CS 418 Manual Belt-Drive Turntable
The DUAL CS 418 is a manual belt-drive turntable designed for precise and reliable vinyl playback. It combines a DC motor with a precision-cut belt, an aluminium die-cast platter, a statically balanced tonearm and a factory-installed Ortofon 2M Red MM cartridge. A switchable MM phono preamplifier allows the CS 418 to connect directly to either a dedicated PHONO input or a standard LINE input.

Drive System
The CS 418 uses a DC motor with belt drive. The motor is mounted using vibration-decoupling elements, while the precision-cut belt is designed to provide consistent platter rotation and reduce wow and flutter.

Platter
The 305 mm aluminium die-cast platter provides a stable platform for vinyl playback. A heavy 2.5 mm rubber mat is supplied to help damp resonance between the record and platter.

Tonearm
The CS 418 features a straight, statically balanced aluminium tonearm supported by ball bearings. Its damped lift mechanism provides controlled tonearm movement, while the spring-loaded anti-skating system can be adjusted according to the selected tracking force.

Phono Preamplifier & Connectivity

Plinth & Vibration Control
The turntable uses an MDF plinth with black vinyl veneer. Elastomer vibration absorbers are integrated into the feet to help isolate the turntable from external vibration. The removable dust cover protects the platter and tonearm when the turntable is not in use.
