DUAL CS 429 Fully Automatic Belt-Drive Turntable

The DUAL CS 429 is a fully automatic belt-drive turntable designed for convenient and precise vinyl playback. It combines a regulated DC motor with optical speed control, a precision aluminium die-cast platter, a statically balanced tonearm and a factory-installed Ortofon 2M Red MM cartridge. The turntable can be operated automatically or manually and provides RCA connectivity for both PHONO and LINE inputs.

Drive System

The CS 429 uses a regulated belt-drive system with optical speed control at the motor. The precision-cut belt and vibration-decoupled motor mounting are designed to provide stable platter rotation while reducing unwanted mechanical vibration.

Platter

The 305 mm aluminium die-cast platter provides a rigid and stable platform for record playback. A heavy 2.5 mm rubber mat is included to help damp unwanted resonance between the record and platter.

Tonearm

The CS 429 features a straight, statically balanced aluminium tonearm supported by ball bearings. The removable headshell makes cartridge replacement straightforward, while the spring-loaded anti-skating mechanism helps maintain accurate stylus tracking.

Ortofon 2M Red Cartridge

The CS 429 comes with a factory-installed Ortofon 2M Red MM cartridge. The cartridge is pre-mounted for convenient setup and is matched to the turntable's tonearm for straightforward vinyl playback.

Automatic & Manual Operation

The CS 429 provides fully automatic operation for convenient everyday use. The tonearm automatically starts playback and returns at the end of the record. Users can also operate the turntable manually when they prefer direct control over record playback.

Analogue Connectivity

The turntable provides an RCA analogue connection and supports connection to both PHONO and LINE inputs. This allows it to integrate with amplifiers or receivers equipped with a dedicated phono input as well as systems using a line-level input.

Plinth & Vibration Control

The CS 429 uses a rigid MDF plinth with a black vinyl veneer finish. Elastomer damping elements are integrated into the feet to help isolate the turntable from external vibration. The motor is also mounted using vibration-decoupling elements.
