The Focal Pro Trio11 Be is a flagship active studio monitor from Focal's SM6 range, engineered for demanding recording, mixing and mastering environments. It combines an 11-inch W-cone subwoofer, a 5-inch W-cone midrange driver and a 1-inch pure Beryllium inverted-dome tweeter with powerful Class-G and Class-AB amplification. Its switchable Focus Mode effectively provides two monitoring configurations in one enclosure, making the Trio11 Be suitable for both nearfield and midfield monitoring.

Focus Mode

Focus Mode is one of the Trio11 Be's key monitoring tools. In standard operation, the monitor works as a full 3-way system with a 30Hz – 40kHz frequency response. Activating Focus Mode converts it to a 2-way monitoring configuration covering 90Hz – 20kHz, allowing engineers to evaluate mix translation on a system with reduced low-frequency extension without changing monitors.

Studio Integration

The Trio11 Be is designed for both nearfield and midfield monitoring. Its rotatable midrange/tweeter plate allows horizontal or vertical installation, while rear-panel acoustic controls provide adjustment for different room conditions.
