Gary Lawyer needs no introduction to those who grew up listening to "western music" in '80s-'90s. He is known as "the man with the golden voice" due to his instantly recognizable bass baritone vocal delivery. He released a number of great albums over the years. His 1992 watershed release, The Other Side of Dawn became immensely successful which took Gary to rock stardom and made him a household name in India. The album was recorded at Wish Studios, New York with a brilliant line-up of American session musicians (the drummer on the album, Shawn Pelton was the drummer for Jon Bon Jovi and Sheryl Crow) and mixed & mastered at the legendary Capitol Records, Hollywood, Los Angeles. The iconic album featured 11 classic rock tracks such as Nights on Fire, Island of Dreams, The Other Side of Dawn, Indian Summer, Riding etc., packed with amazing guitar riffs & solos, catchy melodies & chorus and is considered to be one of the finest rock albums released by an Indian artist.
