Uni-Q® with MAT™

KEF’s 12th-generation Uni-Q® driver array places the tweeter at the acoustic centre of the midrange cone, helping the speaker behave more like a single point source. This improves imaging and provides a wider listening sweet spot. MAT™ absorbs unwanted sound radiating from the rear of the tweeter, helping produce cleaner and more natural high-frequency performance.

Amplifier Matching

The R3 Meta has a nominal impedance of 4Ω, a minimum impedance of 3.2Ω and a sensitivity of 87dB. KEF recommends amplifier power between 15W and 180W. A quality amplifier capable of comfortably driving a 4Ω loudspeaker load is recommended for best performance.
