MoFi Electronics x Fender American Vintage Turntable – Without Cartridge

The MoFi Electronics x Fender American Vintage Turntable combines MoFi's analogue engineering with Fender's iconic guitar heritage. It features a hand-selected solid alder-wood plinth finished in Fender's distinctive three-color Sunburst, a precision belt-drive system, electronic speed control, a 6.8 lb Delrin platter, 10-inch MoFi Ultra Tonearm and HRS-designed anti-vibration feet. This configuration is supplied without a cartridge, allowing the user to select a suitable cartridge for the system.

Drive & Speed System

Delrin Platter

The turntable uses a 1.3-inch Delrin platter weighing 6.8 lb (3.1 kg). Its high mass provides rotational stability, while Delrin's mechanical characteristics help create a stable interface between the record and platter while reducing unwanted resonance.

MoFi Ultra Tonearm

The included 10-inch MoFi Ultra Tonearm uses a straight aluminium armtube and gimbaled bearing system. High-quality bearings provide low-friction movement, while Cardas Audio internal wiring maintains the analogue signal path from the cartridge connections to the gold-plated RCA connectors.

Cartridge Configuration

This version of the American Vintage is supplied without a cartridge. The user can therefore choose an appropriate cartridge according to the desired sound, phono-stage compatibility and system requirements. The tonearm is specified for cartridges weighing 5–10 g.

Plinth & Fender Design

The plinth is constructed from real alder wood, a material closely associated with Fender instruments. It is finished in Fender's iconic three-color Sunburst treatment, bringing the visual character of classic Fender guitars to the turntable. The plinth is designed with resonance control in mind while retaining the distinctive Fender aesthetic.

Bearing & Isolation

A hardened-steel inverted bearing combines steel, bronze and sapphire components for smooth and quiet platter rotation. The turntable also incorporates anti-vibration feet developed with Harmonic Resolution Systems (HRS) to reduce the transmission of external vibration into the record-playing mechanism.

Phono Connection

The American Vintage does not include a built-in phono preamplifier. A suitable external phono stage or an amplifier with the correct PHONO input is therefore required. The phono stage must match the cartridge selected for the turntable.

Dust Cover

A hinged smoked-amber acrylic dust cover is included to protect the platter, tonearm and cartridge area from dust when the turntable is not being used.
