Aparajito (1956) follows Apu’s move to Benares with his family after a tragic loss, leading to his pursuit of education in Calcutta and his growing independence. Finally, The World of Apu (1959) explores Apu’s aspirations as a writer and his unexpected journey into marriage and fatherhood, culminating in deeply moving moments of love and loss.
