India, a land of a billion heartbeats, is ready to lead the global music conversation. The inaugural India International Music Week (IIMW) will transform the sunshine state into a global music epicenter, uniting 600 music industry professionals, over 100 speakers, and 50+ artists for a three-day odyssey of collaboration, creativity, and connection.
For years, India has been a quiet powerhouse in the music world—a vast, untapped market of 1.4 billion people, 170 million listeners, and 200,000 venues. Yet, it remained a supporting act.
IIMW aims to establish India as a central hub in the global music industry. At its core, IIMW is a celebration of music, culture, and the connections they forge. The event is split into two main tracks: IIMW Pro and IIMW Live, each offering something uniquely transformative.
More than 30 countries, including Japan, the USA, Germany, France, Ireland, and Australia, will be represented at IIMW, adding global perspectives to local expertise. This diverse mix underscores the festival's ambition: to create meaningful collaborations and reshape the future of music through cultural exchange.
By day, The Westin Goa will host 20+ panels, keynotes, and roundtables exploring the future of the music industry. Topics include The Future of the World's Largest Streaming Market,, Is Music Publishing Getting More Complicated?, and Marketing Your Music in India
Speakers such as Divya Gupta (Founder of Goa Jazz Academy), Amit Gurbaxani (Journalist), Chris Keena (International General Manager for The Revolver Club & Commercial Manager for Anthem Vinyl Ireland and Smart Vinyl), Marton Naray (Head of Office at SoundCzech), and Roydon Bangera (Chief Business Officer at Skillbox) will bring their insights to the discussions.

For years, TRC has championed the tactile beauty of analog music while embracing modern-day listening experiences. One of the highlights at IIMW will be The Revolver Club’s inclusion panel discussion, addressing the global resurgence of physical media, and exciting opportunities for Indian indie acts to press their music on records along with national and international distribution networks.
IIMW is more than the sum of its parts. It’s a blueprint for India’s ascent as a cultural and economic powerhouse in the global music industry.
