Unbound: How Sanjeev T embraces the raw energy of live music on his new album 'Comfortably Dumb'
Sanjeev T’s Comfortably Dumb, releasing on September 8, brings together two ideas that have shaped his career: independent music and the creative energy of playing with other people. Recorded live at Aura Studios, Chennai, the album brings musicians into the same room, giving them space to listen, respond and retain the spontaneity of a live performance. At its heart is a belief in human connection, trust and what happens when musicians are fully present with one another.
That idea can be traced back to Rainbow Bridge, the Chennai studio and music collective Sanjeev founded in 2004. It grew into a space where musicians and artists could work together across genres, becoming an important part of his development as a guitarist, composer and producer.
In 2005, an unexpected call from A.R. Rahman changed the scale of his career. Recommended by Sindhu, an engineer at Rahman’s studio and a friend of Sanjeev’s, he was invited to play guitar on “Vote for the Taj Mahal”. Sanjeev went to the studio the following morning, beginning a decade-long association that saw him tour internationally as Rahman’s lead guitarist and contribute to films including Delhi-6, Rockstar and Endhiran.
His independent work continued alongside these experiences. He released Freewill in 2012, Epic Shit in 2013 and St. in 2018, while also working across composition, production and playback singing in South Indian cinema. Sid Sriram, with whom Sanjeev has worked across recordings and live performances, joins him again on Comfortably Dumb.
The album features Tapass Naresh, Laxman Arvind, Kenneth Gerald and Amith Venkataramaiah, with guests including Sid Sriram, Baiju Dharmajan, Rithu Vysakh and Mylai Karthikeyan.
Comfortably Dumb arrives at a time when music can be created, edited and consumed without people sharing the same physical space. Sanjeev’s answer is a record that makes room for listening, instinct and human presence in full. Its imperfections are part of its point. The album asks what music can retain when musicians give each other the freedom to simply play together.
Catch Sanjeev T live at The Humming Tree, Bengaluru, on September 5 for the album launch.

Rachel Frye — 8 days ago
My name is Rachel Frye and I want to give this testimony in respect of Dr. Odunga who made me win $2 Million Dollars in the Lottery by matching the 5 numbers for me. I am happy to be out of financial debt and be able to help my family in this seasonal period of fun and cheer. I contacted Dr. Odunga through Whats-App (+2348167159012) when I told him to help me win the Mega Millions and He told me that it would be spiritually checked if I will win the Lottery. When he informed me that I will not be able to win the Jackpot but I will win a huge amount in the lottery I was not completely sad but had great faith in him. I live in Freeland, Saginaw County, Michigan and I would say it was pretty hard to send him the money for the spell before he gave me the winning numbers to play. He sent me the numbers and I played. The next morning after the drawing, I matched the five white balls in the Aug. 4 drawing to win $1 million: 11-30-45-52-56. Thanks to the Megaplier X2, my prize was multiplied to $2 million. Thank You Dr Odunga for this wonderful experience with you. You too can contact Dr. Odunga at his Whats-App +2348167159012 or Email: odungaspelltemple@gmail.com

Manuel Franco — 13 days ago
In March 2019, I was only 24 years old when my life changed in a way I never imagined. My Name is Manuel Franco, I became the winner of the incredible $768.4 million Powerball jackpot. Before that happened, I had received spiritual numbers from Chief Ade. At first I wasn’t sure what to think, but something inside me told me to trust the numbers. I followed the guidance, bought my ticket, and waited. When the winning numbers were announced, I checked my ticket again and again. I was completely shocked, I couldn’t believe that the numbers on my ticket matched the winning numbers, that moment changed everything for me. I went from being an ordinary 24-years old to becoming a multimillion dollar lottery winner overnight. I will never forget the role Chief Ade’s spiritual numbers played in my story. To this day, I still look back and ask myself how everything came together at exactly the right moment. Sometimes, life can surprise you in ways you never thought possible. To win the lottery, one must first achieve a spiritual enlightenment centered on positivity. I consider myself fortunate to have won a staggering $167,300,000 jackpot after contacting a spell casting expert named Priest Alaska. He is incredibly sincere and honest in his work; he opened my eyes to the concept of spirituality. When I expressed my desire to win the Mega Millions, he informed me that winning that draw was not in my destiny; instead, I was destined to win the Powerball something I agreed with. After five days of intense spiritual work, I received the numbers from him and followed his instructions to play the Powerball; to my great surprise, I won the $167,300,000 jackpot. Beware of fraudulent spell casters who claim to be experts but actually know nothing. Priest Alaska is the best choice for obtaining winning lottery numbers.
