Unbound: How Sanjeev T embraces the raw energy of live music on his new album 'Comfortably Dumb'
Sanjeev T’s Comfortably Dumb, releasing on September 8, brings together two ideas that have shaped his career: independent music and the creative energy of playing with other people. Recorded live at Aura Studios, Chennai, the album brings musicians into the same room, giving them space to listen, respond and retain the spontaneity of a live performance. At its heart is a belief in human connection, trust and what happens when musicians are fully present with one another.
That idea can be traced back to Rainbow Bridge, the Chennai studio and music collective Sanjeev founded in 2004. It grew into a space where musicians and artists could work together across genres, becoming an important part of his development as a guitarist, composer and producer.
In 2005, an unexpected call from A.R. Rahman changed the scale of his career. Recommended by Sindhu, an engineer at Rahman’s studio and a friend of Sanjeev’s, he was invited to play guitar on “Vote for the Taj Mahal”. Sanjeev went to the studio the following morning, beginning a decade-long association that saw him tour internationally as Rahman’s lead guitarist and contribute to films including Delhi-6, Rockstar and Endhiran.
His independent work continued alongside these experiences. He released Freewill in 2012, Epic Shit in 2013 and St. in 2018, while also working across composition, production and playback singing in South Indian cinema. Sid Sriram, with whom Sanjeev has worked across recordings and live performances, joins him again on Comfortably Dumb.
The album features Tapass Naresh, Laxman Arvind, Kenneth Gerald and Amith Venkataramaiah, with guests including Sid Sriram, Baiju Dharmajan, Rithu Vysakh and Mylai Karthikeyan.
Comfortably Dumb arrives at a time when music can be created, edited and consumed without people sharing the same physical space. Sanjeev’s answer is a record that makes room for listening, instinct and human presence in full. Its imperfections are part of its point. The album asks what music can retain when musicians give each other the freedom to simply play together.
Catch Sanjeev T live at The Humming Tree, Bengaluru, on September 5 for the album launch.

THE BEST SECRET WAY TO WIN THE LOTTERY.
I was researching how to improve my odds of winning the lottery when I came across numerous testimonials on a blog describing how Priest Alaska had helped others win by sending them the winning numbers. I was curious, and although I initially thought it was a joke, I decided to try it myself and contacted this spell specialist to understand how it worked, as I had spent a lot of money on tickets without ever winning a prize. I got in touch with him, followed his instructions, and waited two days; sure enough, he gave me the winning numbers to play. I bought my tickets, used the numbers Priest Alaska provided, and won the sum of 85 million dollars (USD 85,000,000). I want you to know that the tips found online don’t work for winning the lottery; Priest Alaska is the only solution. Contact him today to get the winning numbers. Greetings to everyone on the Internet. Priest Alaska is a powerful and wonderful man here on earth. I lost my father a month ago, and we were preparing for his funeral so he could rest in peace. My siblings and I were organizing the burial ceremony, but at the time, I didn’t have the money for the funeral expenses, so I decided to look for information about lotteries online. That’s when I saw a comment from someone testifying about how Priest Alaska had helped them win the Mega Millions lottery and become a millionaire. I reached out to him, explained my problem, and he promised to help me win the Mega Millions draw; he kept his word and sent me the six winning numbers. I played those numbers and was the first winner to be notified. Just imagine: Priest Alaska helped me win $335 million! It all happened within 24 hours of him casting the lottery spell for me. Please join me in thanking Priest Alaska for the excellent work he did for me and my family. I was able to pay for all the funeral expenses for my late father. AI has caused me more problems than it has solved. Through AI, I connected with a cryptocurrency trader and lost my hard-earned money in a scam. Had it not been for the help of Priest Alaska recommended to me by my sister-in-law I would not have won the $435 million Mega Millions jackpot. My life could have taken a drastic turn for the worse due to the overwhelming debt I faced after being deceived by those cryptocurrency traders. Priest Alaska used his extraordinary spell casting powers to determine the six perfect numbers needed to win the Mega Millions lottery, and I followed his instructions to play them. I am incredibly grateful for the support, love, and kindness he has shown me; it is truly immeasurable. I am a Michigan lottery player, and before my big breakthrough, I always wondered how others managed to win, as it seemed impossible to me. Everything changed when I contacted Priest Alaska. At first, I was skeptical due to things I had heard about spiritual work, but I decided to give it a try. He performed a powerful prayer and guided me through the process step by step. After I provided the required materials, he gave me special lottery numbers the very next day and explained how to play. I followed his instructions to the letter, and to my great surprise, I won the $1 million Powerball jackpot the following day. I was overjoyed and eager to share the good news with my wife and children. My name is Brian Bauer, I am from Washtenaw County, and this experience has truly changed my life. Nothing is impossible if you truly believe you can achieve it. I have been trying to expand my wine business in my hometown, White Plains. For the past eight years, I had played the lottery in my spare time, but on one blessed day, I came across an article about Priest Alaska’s lottery-winning spell. I contacted Priest Alaska to see if it would work, and after agreeing to his terms and conditions for the work, he used his magical powers on my behalf; he provided the numbers I needed to play, and I followed his instructions.
