Introduction to Teenage Engineering:

Jesper Kouthoofd, Jens Rudberg, David Eriksson, and David Möllerstedt founded Teenage Engineering in 2005. The OP-1, their debut product, was unveiled during the 2010 NAMM Show. In 2012, The OP-1 synthesizer won one of ten of Sweden's Design S Awards. It was described as "A technological product which through a clever color scheme and fantastic graphics is intuitive, easily accessible and incredibly inviting. Music and machine in one".

Bon Iver, Deadmau5, Usher, Beck, Depeche Mode, Thom Yorke, Jean Michel Jarre, Caroline Rose, and Ivan Dorn are among the musicians who use Teenage Engineering gear.

Synthesizers:

Teenage Engineering synthesizers are well-known for their unique designs, portability, and creative features. Teenage Engineering's Pocket Operators, OP-1, OP-Z, and Modular Series synthesizers are compact instruments for musicians and electronic music enthusiasts.

The Modular Series enables users to create their modular synthesizer setups. These synthesizers allow musicians to experiment with new musical frontiers while remaining user-friendly and portable.

OP-1 Field Portable Digital Keyboard Synthesizer

The OP-1 is a portable synthesizer with a user-friendly interface that integrates several instruments, effects, and sequencing capabilities. It includes four modes: synthesizer mode, sampler modeTape Mode and Drum Mode.

  • Synthesizer Mode: Use the keyboard and encoders to play and adjust various synth sounds.
  • Sampler Mode: Use the built-in microphone or external audio sources to capture and modify audio samples.
  • Drum Mode: You can use the built-in drum synthesizer or imported drum samples to build and sequence drum patterns.
  • Tape Mode: This mode allows you to record, sequence, and modify audio and MIDI tracks.

The Protective Soft Black Case is designed to keep your OP-1 safe. It protects the device from scratches, dust, and  impacts.

Teenage Engineering OP-Z Wireless 16-Track Multitimbral Synthesizer & Sequencer

The OP-Z is a wireless synthesizer and sequencer that integrates with smartphones and other compatible devices. It can wirelessly connect to mobile devices through Bluetooth, allowing control and synchronization with the OP-Z app. It has a powerful 16-track sequencer that lets you build complex compositions with many instruments and effects. The programmable synthesizer engines provide a variety of sounds such as drums, bass, lead, chords, and more.

Teenage Engineering PO33 KO Pocket Operator Micro Sampler

The PO-33 KO is a Pocket Operator series sampler and sequencer. It has a variety of functions like sample recording, sequencing, effects, and more. It has a 16-step sequencer for programming patterns and sequences, and performance effects for adding dynamics and modifications to your sequences.

You can also get the CA-X Universal Silicone Case for Pocket Operators as an add-on. A customised fit for the PO-33 KO that ensures a snug and secure fit while shielding it from dust, scratches, and other exterior damage.

Audio Interface:

Teenage Engineering TX-6 Field Mixer Portable Studio Mixer & Audio Interface

The TX-6 is a battery-powered, ultra-portable mixer and multi-channel audio interface. You can combine 6 stereo input channels, use tempo sync, explore the internal synthesiser and sequencer, and use the tuner. MFi compatibility allows you to connect to your iOS devices as well.

Microphone:

Teenage Engineering CM-15 Portable Studio Condenser Microphone

The CM-15 is a multifunctional studio quality, ultra-portable microphone with an integrated USB-C audio interface and preamp. It includes an ESS Sabre analog-to-digital converter, which ensures high-fidelity sound and excellent detail in every recording environment.

It features three outputs that can be used at the same time: mini XLR, 3.5 mm jack, and USB-C. It can also be fueled in three different ways: phantom power, battery, or USB-C.

Field Recorder:

Teenage Engineering TP-7 Field Recorder Portable Audio Recorder

The TP-7 records sound, music, interviews,  in the greatest quality possible with no friction. It fits comfortably in your palm and allows your fingertips to naturally adapt to the controls. The index finger activates fast forward, whereas the middle finger activates rewind. The pinky selects the mode while your thumb records a memo.
