The Avril Lavigne "Clone" Theory - The Greatest Conspiracy Theory In Pop-Culture Makes A Return!

The theory of Canadian pop star Avril Lavigne being deceased and replaced by a clone is a rumor that has persisted for quite some time.
The claim of Avril being replaced has taken over the internet; it's even been reported quite often on news outlets.
The rumor popularized by a Brazilian fan page in 2005, states that a lot of people believe that pop rock superstar Avril Lavigne died in 2003 shortly after the release of her monstrous debut album "let go" and was replaced by a body double named Melissa Vandella.

In 2003 Avril's grandfather sadly passed away and many believers of this theory say that his death along with the pressure of fame sent the real April into a deep depression and it led to her taking her own life.
Believers of this theory think that Melissa was hired and trained by her record label as a body double to replace "the real Avril".
It was also alleged that the label used unreleased and pre-recorded material and vocals for Avril's future work until the body double got it down packed.
Fans also took notice of some of the song lyrics from her album "Under My Skin" and thought that Avril had left behind a lot of subliminal messaging.
One of those messages involved the song "Together" which had lyrics like:
"Something just isn't right, I can feel it inside
The truth isn't far behind me
You can't deny when I turn the lights out
When I close my eyes reality overcomes me I'm living a lie"
And another song is "Best Years Of Our
Lives" which features Lavine with l yrics like:
"It's been so quiet since you've gone,
And every day feels more like a year
Sometimes I wish I could move on
The memories would all just disappear".
These songs are believed to be from the point of view of Melissa. The theory has gotten so popular in recent years that it has caught the attention of Avril herself, she stated "Some people think that I'm not the real me, which is so weird!, Like, why would they even think that?"
Do you think "The Fake Avril Lavigne Theory" is just a theory or reality itself?
